What to Expect
When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. At Northwoods Veterinary Clinic, LLC in Gillett WI our team of veterinary professionals bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. You will find our veterinary facility is clean, comfortable, and efficient. Call 920-855-2229 to schedule an appointment and we will find a time that is convenient for you.
At least once a year, you should bring your pet in for an exam. Since our pets cannot speak for themselves, their yearly preventative care exam is key to a long and healthy life. This will include a full physical exam by the veterinarian from head to tail, as well as blood work which is an opportunity to pick up early signs of disease or illness. This allows for problems to be corrected or at least controlled. It is also a time to implement any preventative care needed such as vaccinations, internal parasite check, heartworm and tick borne disease testing and preventatives as well as an opportunity for you to ask any questions regarding your pets nutrition, behavior or any issues that have come up in the past year.
Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Dr. Gallagher will work with whatever information you have.
